E.E. Ward Moving & Storage Staff Members Take Time Off to Volunteer atMap Furniture Bank

Earlier this week E.E. Ward Moving & Storage (Columbus moving company) along with other members of the Relocation Council of Central Ohio, had their staff members volunteer their time to give back to the community. Map Furniture Bank was founded in 1998. They offer free furniture to Central Ohio neighbors that are in need with the hope that one day all Central Ohio families will have properly furnished homes. The Furniture Bank offers many different ways to volunteer, however E.E. Ward members chose to go the physical route, and helped paint and assemble furniture that will be donated to needy families. It was a great hands-on team building experience for the staff, and no experience was required. The furniture bank provided instructions, tools and safety equipment.
